Chapter 802 Next step
Chapter 802 Next step
Fueled by a whirlwind of emotions, Rain's pent-up frustrations and anguish surged to the surface. Without a second thought, he wanted to punch Seadrei's face and punch it hard.
Rain was troubled by a storm of conflicting thoughts. He was aware that his anger, while partly fueled by Seadrei's actions, was also a culmination of the pent-up guilt and remorse that had been growing within him.
As the emotions settled, Rain couldn't help but acknowledge the undeniable consequences of Seadrei's actions. The unintentional division of their group and, more significantly, the fragmentation of Rain's family cut deep. He realized the gravity of the situation – the breach within his family, the estrangement between his children, and the irreparable damage inflicted upon their relationships.
However, amidst the anger and blame directed at Seadrei, Rain found himself with a lot of doubts. He questioned his own right to hold others accountable when he felt responsible for the tumultuous state of affairs. Doubt clouded his mind as he questioned whether he had the authority or justification to act or say anything at all.
Rain also wanted to talk with Isa and address the state of the demi-humans as an impending concern, but amidst that situation, Rain recognized the need to deal with one issue at a time. Contacting Isa and understanding the situation with the demi-humans was a pressing matter that required attention only after he solved the current tumultuous situation within his family.@@@@
"Ugh... I had a weird dream," Luana said after groaning and opening her eyes while she stared at the ceiling. "I saw a face that I almost had forgotten..."
"I wonder if she will pass out again, this shouldn't be very good for her health," Rain said.
Once again, Luana almost passed out once she found Rain after hearing his voice. Meiro had to calm her down for a while... At that point in time, Meiro was almost convinced that Rain was the real deal.
"... Is he real?" Luana asked.
However, amidst this realization, Rain also noted a significant advancement in his progression along the Healer's path. He had diligently pursued this path and was now in proximity to reaching its maximum level.
"I want to say that I will look for them and scold all of them for not returning or sending any messages, but I guess I am not in the place to do that, right?" Rain asked and forced a smile.
"Rain... is that really you?" Luana asked when she recognized Rain's forced smile.
"As I said, it is impossible for anyone to be able to fake my good looks," Rain shrugged.
Luana dashed toward Rain and hugged him with all her might... she finally believed that he was the real deal. Rain could understand the feeling, if he hadn't seen his kids or wives for one hundred years, he also would think that one of his enemies was trying to mess with him.
"Sorry for making you all suffer like this, Grandma," Rain said while patting Luana back. "I won't promise anything since I don't think that my word has any value right now, but I can at least say that I will work hard."

Luana sniffed a bunch of times while nodding and Meiro also approached and tapped on Rain's shoulders. If Rain was an asshole, he would laugh maniacally to pretend that he was an enemy in disguise, but he couldn't ruin the moment like that.
After a brief period of rest in the home of his grandparents, Rain got from his nap, feeling a profound sense of uneasy. His mind wrestled with a troubling reality: he couldn't bring his grandparents along with him in his journey. They were the leaders of a substantial community, responsible for the well-being and guidance of thousands of individuals who had sought refuge underground.
