"i can see the type of person you are now," isa said when the sun was rising. "i am worried about the future of your children if you keep spoiling them that much. i hope that your wives have more of it together than you."

"i guess they are," rain shrugged.

"i am going to teach you the foundations of the magic that we began to develop three thousand years ago. i don't think you will be able to make as nearly as much progress as we did, but you can use that to protect your family and friends," isa said.

"in the middle of the day?" rain asked.

"no one is listening to us right now, so it is fine," isa said. "as you are aware, the dragons are the strongest species in the world. they have their endless potential, experience and longevity to thank for that, but the more they live, the more arrogant they become and they also become more corrupt, although that can become a new source of strength for them, it can also become their downfall."

isa began to explain to him the fascinating history of how dragons had become such formidable and lasting creatures. she described that in their early stages, dragons were inherently strong, but their arrogance often led to their downfall. they rarely lived long enough to become significantly more powerful because they failed to learn and adapt from their battles.

however, as dragons evolved and matured, they began to acquire wisdom and a more strategic approach to life. with age came not only greater physical strength but also a deeper understanding of the world around them. around the age of five hundred years old, they reached a significant turning point in their development.

this milestone marked the time when a dragon could undergo its first evolution and embark on the path of an elder dragon. the elder dragon's path allowed them to unlock their full potential, transforming them into even more formidable and intelligent beings.
