"They aren't much of warriors... and they are more involved in politics than anything," Seadir explained. "Considering how harsh father is usually with them... we can't rely on them."

Rain's expectations regarding the sea folk society had been, in a way, more optimistic than what he could see now. The situation he found himself in was even worse than he had anticipated.

Rain couldn't help but be astonished at the fact that they couldn't even seek assistance from Seadrei's own children to help rescue their father. It was almost baffling that within a society that appeared to place such value on familial bonds, the children of the sea emperor seemed unable or unwilling to help.

"Not like I was expecting much help," Rain shrugged. "I know that it is your father we are going to try to rescue, but you will have to follow my lead since there is something I want to test to help achieve our goal right now. We can't afford to be discovered until we find him. Who knows how many sea dragons will be guarding him."

"No... but there are plenty of sea dragons ahead," Rain explained while rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "The mana density ahead is off the charts... I bet that dungeons here would break every week."

"... What do we do?" Seadir asked.

"This will be a bit unpleasant, but we will have to endure it," Rain said.

Rain pulled Seadir to his wind sphere, and then he began to fill the interior with cold air... to the point that it began to freeze them. Rain lent him his forearm guards to fight the cold, but that didn't help much.

"... What are you doing? You know that my people are weak to the cold..." Seadir said while trembling.

"I could explain you, but it would take too long," Rain said. "I am just creating an environment where the sea dragons won't detect us."
