The aliens were fearless and battle-driven. The V-shaped tear wasn't big enough to allow a significant assault, but the Scalqa charged ahead anyway. The first invader didn't even wait for his companions while jumping from the makeshift trench to launch himself at the enemy battalion.

The fearless warrior advanced, fighting against the weight of the many bullets that converged on his shield. The defensive equipment held strong, and those impacts couldn't stop his steady steps.

However, the Scalqa were still inexperienced with that military equipment. The first warrior made a mistake, exposing his feet, and the human soldiers immediately exploited the

opening.

Considering the violent nature of Khan's element, that innate protection was probably tougher to cross compared to other evolved warriors. Still, Khan's pondering didn't stop there. If his mere existence could affect enemy spells, how much could he achieve when he put his will into it?

Khan was almost about to request another attack to test those ideas when Brigadier General Meadrey acted. He closed his eyes again, relaxing his arms and concentrating on his mana

The sea of yellow flames suddenly became more intense. The fire didn't rise, but its temperature increased, forcing Khan to fly higher to escape its scorching effects.

The stage wasn't so lucky. The metal floor melted, and dense scarlet drops fell from its edges, hurting the lower floors. Brigadier General Meadrey's weight also bent that surface, but the flames eventually became thick enough to act as footholds.
